In the third quarter of 2025, several fast food and fast casual restaurant apps showed varied performance trends on the iOS platform in Egypt. According to data from Sensor Tower, here are the key insights.
McDonald’s maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.5K by early September. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, starting the quarter with approximately 127K and experiencing a high of about 165K mid-quarter before declining to 109K by the end.
KFC Egypt - Order Food Online saw weekly downloads initially rise to 4K in early August but tapered off to around 2.2K by the end of September. Active users exhibited growth from 68K to over 90K in July, stabilizing around 73K towards the end of the quarter.
Buffalo Burger experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.1K and ending at approximately 1.3K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 15K throughout the quarter.
Pizza Hut Egypt-Order Food Now had a fluctuating download trend, with a notable increase to 2.2K in early September. However, active users showed a declining pattern, starting at 12.6K and dropping to approximately 7.4K by the end of September.
Lastly, Second Cup Egypt demonstrated a positive trend in downloads, peaking at around 1.3K in mid-August. Active users also increased steadily from 4.7K to nearly 5K by the quarter's close.
